In general, we all thought that the speed of natural or unnatural selection takes ages for us mortals to even observe. But there are some examples of unnatural selection taking shape much faster than we have thought in reality. By unnatural selection, scientists imply a selection process caused by man-created stresses, such as environmental and other stresses we have caused for better or worse.

To oversimplify this unnatural selection process, let's assume that all the queen breeders have been focusing on early buildup as the only criterion in queen breeding, which, however inadvertently, created queens that are excellent for spring buildup but have a shorter life span--by favoring one genetic factor, for instance. According to the following documentary, any such environmental or man-made stress can and will result in a quick unnatural section in species.
