Dr. Harpur and his lab are at the forefront of collecting and analyzing
genetic data across the US relative to both managed and feral stocks, and he
is looking for participation by folks across the US (see attached).

 

If you live in one of the 'gray' areas, they will sample your bees for free.

 

While it is still embargoed, keep your eyes peeled for Maddie Carpenter's
research - they are finding genetic distinctives between managed and feral
