I doubt anyone is specifically monitoring this problem. However, there are two sub-issues: resistance in bees which are treated off-label vs bees which are treated with labeled products applied per label. 

I would suggest that a similar issue arose relative to antibiotic use on bees. Some of us followed the instructions carefully and some beekeepers made "extender patties" which were kept in-hive year round.

I asked Beltsville if there were tracking antibiotic resistance; they said they were. I asked if that information was available; they said it was stashed in file cabinets, waiting for someone to process it. Still there!

Of course, folks get riled up about privacy issues; apparently this is more important than sharing data that could provide benefits to _other people_. It's a case of you show me your cards, but I have to keep mine hidden.
