If Dalan is claiming that a 30-50% decrease in the lab can result in zero infection in the field, perhaps they have some data showing how the spore counts are reduced to the point that AFB never rises to the level of getting out of hand, and killing any brood, despite the spores being ubiquitous "in the environment".   I agree that it is very poor marketing that no one has explained all this in words of one syllable, but just for example, AT&T, try as they might, could not get any "home users" to use "picturephone" from the 1950s through the 1990s, even if the hardware was given away but now everyone uses Facetime and Zoom, and pays extra for phones with better cameras or for webcams for their computers.  Go figure.  Marketing is semi-random.
 
The statement "Due to the highly contagious nature of AFB, hives cannot be challenged in the wild" seems misinformed, as there is always Plum Island, and several other islands where such tests can be performed with minimal risk, and much more deadly stuff has been unleashed.
