It would be interesting to swap (Steve Taber stile) this queen into a healthy colony and watch the bee’s reaction. 



Does she possess the same amount of pheromone as a normally functioning queen which is stopping supersedure?



He swapped over queens from colony to colony with queens from the same colony size and development and each was immediately accepted I.E. the bees didn’t notice the difference.



I’ve had one of these queens but unfortunately she ended up squashed on a fence post in the hope her pheromones will attract a swarm next spring.
