France maybe, but not yet a problem in the UK.

Unfortunately, most of the effort - and very expensive effort - seems to be directed towards eradication, a strategy that has always failed in the past (e.g. varroa...).
As fast as colonies are destroyed more will appear - and even if we destroyed every Asian hornet in the UK more will inevitably arrive from France, the Channel Islands etc.

The effort needs to be directed towards living with them - they are not going to go away.
