> Coltsfoot

We have yellow pollen loads into all hives on nice days in early spring before dandelions. The source is Coltsfoot. My apiary has been in a mixed bush since I started beekeeping almost 50 years ago. I don’t recall coltsfoot then but the bush floor is covered in it now. The leaf is the size of a full grown Clydesdale’s foot which shades many tree seedlings. Should I blame my bees or the person who brought it from Europe?
