It doesn't seem likely that tropilaelaps could travel from infested territory and populate the Western Hemisphere without live brood to feed on during transport since Tropilaelaps cannot feed on adult bees. Or, as briefly discussed in the first post, tropilaelaps can travel on a different host, like a mouse or rat.
