I'll go against the tide here. In our testing, we've seen colonies heavily infested with mites suddenly leave the hive, sometimes just walking out the door! Problem with swarms, are they from established, mite-tolerant, survivor feral colonies, or are they swarms from established colonies? Unless you see where it comes from, how do you know? My bias, quickest way to up the mite counts in colonies is to start catching and adding untreated swarms.
