I had a swarm last year that bivouacked for a few hours, took flight and
re-bivouacked after about 100 yds. After "resting" for an hour or so, they
took flight again and went who-knows-where. I read that this can happen
when the queen gets weary and needs to stop to rest. Probably just a
theory...
