I was there for a symposia, and the area is very nice.
I stayed in the cluster of hotels in the city, but I had a rental car.
There may be shuttle service from various "city" hotels as the distance is not far, but I do not know for sure.
Maybe the organizers will list hotels with shuttle service?

The Radisson is very nearby, and glancing at google maps:

a) The Raddison is only 1 km away from the convention center, an easy walk on nice sidewalks.  But it is the only hotel "nearby".

b) "Vespucio Norte" is the nearest subway station, about a 3 km walk, but perhaps take a taxi from there?

c) There are also a RedBus stop (the "El Slato" stop)  (see redbus.com) and a public bus stop (PB752-Parada / Canchas El Salto) right out front.
