I asked Steve one time how they select queens for breeding.  He said, "If they're yalla, we breed 'em".  Of course he was kidding.  I think.

Before border closure threw both Alberta and our California connections into chaos, Parks picked their best producing queens in the Peace country in Northern Alberta and sent them down for breeders, then sent packages north in spring with the offspring.
