Even as I remain hopeful that they are able to contain this scourge, it does present an interesting thought experiment.

Based on the collective knowledge that has been accumulated of varroa mite infestations across the globe, how would you advise Australia (or any remaining varroa naive landmass) to approach the situation when it is determined that varroa has established itself to stay?

I started to outline all the possibilities I could think of, but thought it might be better not to preempt any ideas.
