In North Carolina, the Commissioner of Agriculture, working with the NC State Beekeepers Association, has provided beekeepers with a document, signed by the Commissioner, explaining that beekeeping falls under "essential functions." This includes visiting bee yards, moving bees, buying supplies and other necessary activities. Similarly, the bee supply stores are classified as essential and remain open. This document can be shared with government authorities and includes a contact phone number for the President of the NCSBA if they have any questions.

I assume that travel by honey customers would fall under "shopping for food" provisions.
