That is a very ugly character assassination directed at some our core bee researchers.   

Myself, when confronted by the journalist's desire to besmirch Drs. vanEnglesdorf, Sheppard and Jerry Hayes,  I am completely turned off by the rhetoric.

The core message I got was that Varroa destructor is simply a conspiracy of Bayer to distract from its business.  Wish that were true, everything would be simpler.

This link has been spilt all over my social media feeds,  courtesy of  "prominent names" in the 
"treatment free"  religion.    That cult  lives in a glass house and shouldn't be throwing stones.
