This is what bothers me the most about current agricultural practices, that
give only lip service to IPM.
The use of pesticides should always be considered as temporary band aids
until we figure out cultivars and practices that obviate our reliance on
them.
Luckily, industry is getting the word, and despite the the chem companies'
motivation to sell as much product as possible, agriculture is slowly
moving in the right direction.
