The upper entrances are 1.5"x3/8" and located in the inner cover rim on the front of the hive...same side as the bottom entrance. Bottom entrance is wide open with a 1/2" hardware cloth wedge shoved into the entrance. 1.5" foam on inner cover to prevent condensation
