As a matter of pure curiosity what happens to a grafted queen cell if it is not vertical? For instance what would happen if I installed a grafted JZBZ cup horizontal like a worker cell? Would the bees abandon it? Raise a worker in it? Or turn it into a downward facing emergency cell and raise a queen?

Someone must have tried this sometime. I find it curious that none of my books talk about this.

Dick
