In Ontario, not sure about other provinces, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food & Rural Affairs(OMAFRA) has put out recommendations, based on PMRA regs, for the use of various chemicals in honey bee hives including Oxalic.  While they show both vapour & dribble methods, they recommend the dribble method, especially for newbeeks
