the geographic location of the sender.  A beekeeper in Ontario telling
those in California  how to pack their bees is worthless as is the
opposite.  A beekeeper next door or nearby would be better choice for local
advice.

Exactly why I steer clear of giving advice!  What I'm interested in is the
biology and physics of the winter cluster.  Difficult for me to test at
home, since we don't get below 20F (-7C), so largely academic to me.  What
I'm interested in is observations and measurements from those in more
extreme cold.
