I agree with Randy’s statement.Here in Canada OA is exempted from residues tolerance since first time registered with PMRA. It was not the same in USA.
According to the newly released Regs, the exemption from tolerance didn't mean that EPA gave it a free pass, but only that a registrant does not have to submit data to support residues iin honey or bees wax for registration. Honey packers or FDA needn't to worry aboutMaximum Residue limit.
After all Oxalic acid is registered as a
pesticide.  This means that to legally use it
as a varroacide, you must use a registered PRODUCT, and only following approved register label directions.
