Well, I was asking tongue in cheek.

People seem to get very upset as to what is GMO and exactly why we should fear GMO.

GMOfobia has had a serious effect on honey markets and the fact that GMO (whatever exactly GMO is) pollen is everywhere makes a perfect 'phytosanitary' excuse to tilt the field for the home team.

Humans have been modifying genes since time memorial. Some methods are new, but selection has taken place over millennia. That's why we have tame versions of many things and why a Great Dane looks and acts a bit different from a Chihuahua.

Where do we draw the line? What method of modifying genes puts the organism over that line. How long and how much does the organism have to be modified. How much alteration makes the cut to qualify as an object of fear?

Is there are chance we humans are already GMOs ourselves, or will be shortly as things are going?
