>M. DELIA ALLEN. (1965). THE PRODUCTION OF QUEEN CUPS AND QUEEN CELLS IN RELATION TO THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT OF HONEYBEE COLONIES, AND ITS CONNECTION WITH SWARMING AND SUPERSEDURE. Beekeeping Research Department, North of Scotland College of Agriculture, Marischal College, Aberdeen, Scotland

Interesting. Low swarming, high supersedure - but no indication of the age at which the queens were superseded or the time of year that this happened?

Given that this was in the North of Scotland in the 1960s, I would venture to suggest that it is highly likely that these may have been fairly pure A.m.m. - known for superseding.

Best wishes
