I donĀ“t know if the underlying hypothesis is true. There might be some
effect by S supplementation, but I don't think it's the most important
variable like for example land use and biodiversity (via duration and
strength of flow).At least in Germany there are historic flows described
that aren't relevant any more, because the land use has changed. Comparing
the average honey yields in the US with So2 Emissions there isn't an
obvious correlation at least. But maybe those are the wrong metrics to
compare.
