Thanks Jim for the baking lesson. It seems that isolation and being at home for most of the time is helping to sharpen the skills for backing.
The difference between the two sugar can is refined to form crystals. For the sugar beet is not as much refined. It can cost more for further refinement. What we are talking about here is interns of feeding bees.
For example, when we ask about mixing oxy tet with icing sugar we prefer using icing sugar used for making icing for cakes. This icing sugar does not have starch. The powdered sugar you buy from the store has starch to keep it in powder form. Bees don’t digest starch. However due to applying one or two spoons of the mix to a hive does not impact the bees as a feeding source.
