When I first noticed bald brood I was told it was uncapping by hygenic bees
as a form of mite interruption. Last I heard, however, it was related to
wax moths and not mite resistance. Any definitive word on it?
In any event, I used to see it much more often in 2007-2010. I don't see
bald brood very frequently now. I don't know why. Anyone else observe the
same?
