Hi,
I am hoping others on this forum have gotten some of their honeys tested and would be willing to share the test results with me. I would like to do a short study on my own 2 honeydews (2017 type unknown & 2018 likely spruce) and do some comparison with some other honeydews from different geo locations. As you know I am an open book so here are the test results for my 3 recent honeys (using NMR) 2 out of the 3 are honeydews. Link here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gAyWtR_w94dH8j0dZ2CjuCsvS-ASiCBS?usp=sharing. Sample BC-100 & BC-101 are honeydews. I plan on doing a bit more in depth microscopic review of these honeys over the winter ( I still have a few jars of each). I am also looking to find more info on Aphid biology, population dynamics, relationships with predators (if any), ideal weather. It makes a very unique and different honey than is typical and could fetch better prices with more research.
If anyone is open to sharing please send me an off list email. I will likely do a write up of my findings and share.
Thank you
Etienne
