I have a large floater in each eye due to a vitreous separation.  Another joy of old age.  My question for Larry, did your eye swell?  If so, it may have put press on the eye that caused the floater to move.  Like others, I keep hoping mine will sink - hasn't happened yet.  But I also have to worry about retinal tears, so I'm not going to try the eye sting issue.  Although normally, even my eye area doesn't swell from bee stings.
