I have tennis elbow and cortisone is the only thing that keeps it in check.  Bee stings - nada.
My father had a finger that wouldn't bend, was allergic to wasp stings.  A wasp sting to the finger freed it.  Also sent him to the emergency room.
We're all different.
Given the number of stings I've gotten over 46 years working all types of bees in different countries, even AHB apiaries, my arthritis in both thumbs and elbows hasn't been helped or prevented by bee stings.  The x-rays show that the problem is joint deterioration - no sting is going to repair physical damage.
