Hello Peter and all.
Here in western Washington we have Black Locust in Bloom and a very good year. I would get black Locust honey most all years . In a good year I would get one deep per hive.
I think your weather this year has caused the problem.
 I have always had a lot of requests for the honey.It was the first light honey that would come in our area.
