Two thoughts on this:
1. Have a Dandelion Festival with Prizes for the lawn with the most Dandelions. That's what a beautiful lawn is all about, right? bragging rights?

2. Bumper stickers! "Save the Bees, Don't Mow the Weeds". I got some made up, I had to buy 50, worked out to $5 per, Vistaprint. You can import a photo, position it, add text... it takes some time and patience but can be done. I chose a 5" oval.
