Lets see, purple loosestrife, knapweed, star thistle, knotweed all under bio controls, some for nearly 30 years.
There are probably others. Even aggressive 'natives', like black locust, are under environmental pressure to be 'controlled'.
IMO tallow will fall right in line, conversation or not.
