In my limited experience with beekeeping (going on 9 yrs) one hive propolized a bored hole in a super. In Spring/early Summer and Fall flows supers are usually 5 high with 2 deeps; I’d say at minimum 3-4 bored holes per hive which are used in addition to upper entrance and lower. Some might be ignored, but not filled.
