" Older folk are more prone to exhibiting a cytokine storm."
Yet the 1918 flu killed mainly 20 to 40 year olds via a cytokine storm.
Is there any evidence at all that bee keepers suffer less from any viral disease? Do bee keepers get fewer cases of or milder cases of colds? Do bee keepers get fewer cases or milder case of the flu? Did bee keepers have less paralysis from polio than non bee keepers? I believe there is no evidence that bee keeping prevents or makes milder any of these diseases. I see zero reason to think bee keeping would be even slightly protective against corona viruses.
More important, it is an unanswerable question. The infection rate is so small and so heterogeneous in distribution and the number of bee keepers who get a significant number of stings is way too small to ever reach a statistically significant result. If you can not reach a statistically significant answer you are wasting your time. Remember, only about 5% of the US population has caught covid-19 to date.
For the record I have not had it as I have taken protective measures that make my risk zero for all practical purposes.
