>>> I am looking for solutions that can be utilized by individuals that do not have the ability to control drone yards within a 2 mile radius or access to isolated mountains.<><><> I' reiterate what I've mentioned on here beefore. Years ago we had a beekeeper (Greenville, Alabama area) who raised Caucasian queens. Of course the area in which he had his mating yard was in an Italian/Italian mutt area. The way he controlled his drone population was to go around for ten to fifteen miles and supply all the beekeepers in the area with free queens which he had chosen as his drone producers. Of course, these queens came from a line of good honey producers so the beekeepers were thrilled to get free queens each year. He did produce almost pure Caucasian queens using this method of drone control.
