Thanks for the information on pollen identification, something I am
investigating for my area.
I was a bit surprised not to see sumac on your list of important plants, it
seems to thrive in marginal, often stony locations, but checking several
distribution maps I see that none of the common species are listed in
Newfoundland.
What about raspberry, lupins, thistles, choke and pin cherries, and maybe
Japanese bamboo?
