In the late fall of 2019, I made up about 100 lbs. of sugar bricks to feed
my overwintered nucs in the late winter/early spring of 2020. I use Lauri
Miller's recipe, which is basically just sugar, water, and vinegar with a
dash of citric acid. I've done this for many years. But, in the spring of
2020, my overwintered nucs were very strong and still had plenty of feed,
so I never used them.

This past fall my overwintered nucs for 2021 averaged 65 lbs. so I didn't
use them then. (I run two-box, four frame nucs.)

Now I'm thinking of late winter/early spring 2021. I have no background in
chemistry. For those of you who do, is it safe to use my 18 month-old
sugar bricks in the late winter/early spring of 2021 if the nucs need
feed?
