With regards to the TF crowd. Mite's aren't a personal problem. They're a
communicable ectoparasite; they must be treated as such, and not ignored.
Treat, or euthanize. Not ignore.
The Santa Cruz Island study referenced previously indicated that a single
mite was affixed to foragers, and sent back to the colony, which extirpated
the entire natural population on the Island.
