Hi Filipe & All

Warwick Kerr, brought queens from the African tropics with the aim of improving the production of the Italian bees in Brazil. In reading several papers about various African subspecies, I had narrowed it down to three: Capensis from the far south, Scutellata from the east and Adansonii from the west. Kerr, himself, said he brought A m adansonii. Everyone else seemed to be saying that he brought A m scutellata.
