That's a great opportunity  to study stratification of chemicals in an old storage tin.  But it will be spendy.
The other option is to mix well before sampling.  I'd warm it enough to be very fluid, then use a drill and plastic paint stirrer. Or find a paint store and see if you can affix the tin to a paint shaker.  Jerry
