The main issue with beeswax foundation (and "bettercomb" as well) --  is that it has to be supported with wires. 

 

And -- hardly anyone knows how to properly wire frames any more, it's a skill which is being lost (I haven't wired a frame in 20 years).

 

 

When I used the Bettercomb, I mounted them in frames using a brad nailer with two inch brads from all four sides.  They did not move at all.

 

As for wiring foundation, I have not used horizontal wires from many years.  The vertical crimped wires with hooks works well for me.  I wonder if using deeps for extracting frames In radial extractors might be a problem.  I don’t know of anyone today that regularly used deeps for honey supers.  Wiring is not a big factor.
