Hi all
I was a normal kid and ate a lot of peanut butter. I ate it the usual way, with jelly, but also on celery and sometimes in sandwiches with lettuce. One day, out of the blue, I had a severe reaction to peanut butter and have considered myself allergic to it ever since.
I have had severe reactions maybe ten times, but not for at least 35 years now, since I avoid it. I have never carried an Ana-Kit. Additionally, I have had seasonal pollen allergy since about the same time, which I control with anti-histamines.
Bee stings, on the other hand, I became tolerant to and with them have never had any of the typical symptoms of allergy = itching, rashes, constricted breathing, death. I honestly think the chance of getting a bee sting allergy now is nil.
