Plus there is likely rapid degradation of sprayed oxytet, and it is
typically only applied once per season. The rapid degradation would be
expected, since oxytet is a natural product found in soil bacteria.
And unlike as with antibiotics applied to animals that we eat, I strongly
suspect that few antibiotic-resistant bacteria would later be found on
washed apples.
