Forgive the self quote but my tongue got stuck in my cheek and I was not referring to the pain of a sting. Do stings hurt?
I'm talking about real pain like getting up at 3AM to move a yard to summer forage. Discovering that a bear felt that you would be happy to share some of your crop. A dead battery axle deep in mud with a load of bees. Being a mile from an aerial application of dimethonate and getting hit hard. That kind of pain. As far as missing a sting while cozy in front of the stove in the dark of winter I find a blow to the thumb with a 24oz waffle head hammer is a good substitute. :-)
