I only met Aaron once in person at an ABF in Houston. I was wandering around in the trade show and he tapped me on the shoulder and introduced himself after seeing my name-tag. We had a great conversation focusing mostly on the trash one finds on the internet. I lavished him with praise for BEE-L and he suggested that we drink to that and we did.

I came to BEE-L with trepidation as an uneducated beekeeper looking for information about early formic use. With my first posts I was amazed that smart people responded in a thoughtful way. My rants went on for a while and finally I said "one more rant and then I'll sit down and shut up. I promise" Aaron sent an off list message of three words "Please don't stop"

We have lost a giant. He will long be remembered and loved.
