Probably is my not so good english or could it be we have different meaning
for the same words. But as I undestand we are born with the capacity to
develop a healthy inmune system, that is one that do not develop a
pathogenic response to most of the things we are going to face in our
lifes, lets call them allergen. If we do not prime, develop, this system in
a proper way, say in the first year of age, say by giving this undevelop
system highly allergenic food (i.e fish, bananas, peanut, etc) then the
system will over react, develop an allergic reaction to that food.
On the contrary if we on that first year of age give low allergic food and
increment in time #the shit intake, then that organismo will be inmuneto
most of that. Therefore been inmune used in the sense of not making an over
reaction. What you call tolerance.

What mechanism make the inmune system go backward, I mean less tolerant to
a given substance I do not know.

cause of Covid I been reading about BCG vaccine and it seems it doesn't las
for ever, that any time our Inmune system is overshoot one should again get
the BCG vaccination. Do not understand the mechanism why.
