> I've tried to search BEE-L archives about posts on SPIRULINA POWDER as a
pollen sub additive but could find nothing.
Mike, I just ran a large controlled field trial of the pollen subs on the
market, including a commercial pollen sub based upon spirulina, but its
performance was apparently suppressed by the formulation, which included a
high amount of essential oils.

I'm in continual contact with the manufacturer, as well as Dr. Ricigliano
at USDA, who is a proponent of spirulina, and a collaborator in my study.
I have a fresh batch on hand without EOs, which I plan to test starting in
January.
I'm not yet clear as to whether I'll publish my results soon, or wait until
further results come in in February.
