pollen-foraging bees individually prefer some flowers over othersI have photographic evidence of a bee switching from one species of flower to another during a single foraging trip. The picture is a side-view, macro-photo. About 1/2 way up the pollen globule on her leg the color changes from blue-grey to a yellow orange.
