For comparative purposes, I have compiled all relevant apicultural legislation and regulation across Canada at the provincial level, and also had a look at a fair bit of the urban beekeeping regulation at the city/municipal level in this country and internationally. What I'm interested in here, with respect to a "Beekeeper's Code," are the informal rules, norms, or often unspoken expectations of conduct that some beekeepers believe are operative in our relations with one another. Much of this may not be codified in law.
