Absolutely! So it's not about Seeley but how his work is abused by a group of people in your view? Seeley is very specific in when and where let alone beekeeping can be practiced. It certainly shouldn't be anywhere near others that can be effected. Not sure why anyone would ignore this unless they haven't studied his work closely or not at all.
